Smoke and Mirrors
by Oliver Tidy
Acer Sansom has personal reasons for agreeing to go undercover into Iran. His mission is to find evidence that missing British scientists are working under duress in Iran’s nuclear programme. But the mission becomes more complicated and even more dangerous!
Smoke and Mirrors is the third Acer Sansom novel and while they can be read alone, there is a back story that makes it worth reading them in order, starting with ‘Dirty Business’ and the second book, ‘Loose Ends’.
The story keeps the reader guessing, there are red herrings and it is difficult to guess who is manipulating Acer.
It is well paced and recommended for anyone who enjoys a good thriller with plenty of action.
